Essential storage and processing
The site and its providers may use storage or technical request data needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, protect forms and remember privacy choices. These functions are not used by Ledgers Academy for advertising profiles. Cloudflare and Wordpuppi may process security and delivery information according to their own retention schedules.
Language preference
When you use the header language switcher, the site stores your selected language in local browser storage and in the first-party ledgers_language preference cookie. This lets the interface remain in the selected language as you move between pages. The cookie lasts for up to 12 months unless you clear it earlier. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Academy School progress
Academy School uses local browser storage named ledgers_academy_school_progress_v1 to remember which chapters you completed. It contains no account details or quiz answers and is used only to provide the course progression you request. Clearing site data resets the course.
Google AdSense and its CMP
Content pages contain the Google AdSense tag. Google’s certified consent management platform uses IAB TCF 2.3 and presents the applicable choices before advertising storage or personalised advertising is used where consent is required. Depending on your choice, Google and participating ad technology providers may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device identifiers and activity information to deliver, limit, protect, measure or personalise ads. Provider names and purposes are available under “Manage options” in the Google message.
Google explains common advertising technologies in its cookie information and explains partner-site processing here.
Google Analytics 4
The Google tag with measurement ID G-LR1P0VYGN1 runs across the domain to measure aggregate use. Consent mode starts with analytics storage denied and uses the choice made in Google’s consent platform. When analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies, although consent-state and cookieless measurement pings may be sent for basic measurement and modelling. When analytics storage is granted, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_LR1P0VYGN1 cookies to distinguish visits and sessions; their configured maximum lifetime is up to two years. Analytics consent can be withdrawn at any time through the settings button above.
Forms, market tools, and affiliate placements
The contact, subscription and reader-review forms do not require advertising consent. They send the information you choose to provide to Wordpuppi. A submitted review stores your rating, comment, optional display name, required moderation email and any optional social profile you volunteer. The email and social profile are used privately for moderation and are never published. Market searches are requested directly from CoinGecko and are not stored by Ledgers Academy. Social links are ordinary links; the site does not embed YouTube or X content.
The clearly labelled Ledger affiliate placement is rendered by this site and does not load an external advertising image. Clicking the placement opens Ledger with the referral identifier contained in the link. Ledger then receives the ordinary technical request data needed to open its site, and any storage used after leaving this site is controlled by Ledger under its own privacy and cookie information.
How to refuse or withdraw
Choose “Do not consent” in Google’s message or use “Privacy and cookie settings” at the bottom of the site to reopen the choices. Refusing optional advertising storage does not block access to the site. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser, although essential security functions may then behave differently.
